Now install AppCleaner, open source - free app already mentioned here by gusarking ![]() It will ask for your password or touch Id. A "Contents" folder will open, delete that folder. Go to Applications, right click on CCleaner But below are the steps I used to delete CCleaner from my mac. Not sure if this is still a problem for you. cd /Library/LaunchAgents sudo rm sudo rm .plistħ) If you're curious about how much junk ccleaner generates, try: sudo find / -name "*piriform*" -print 2>&1 | fgrep -v "Operation not permitted" This removes CCleaner from the launch when you start up. Relock.Ħ) Now, open the terminal again and enter these commands in this order. Then select the CCleaner entry and click the minus button to remove CCleaner's full disk access. Click the unlock (and enter your password). You can stop here.ĥ) You might want to go to > System Preferences> Security and Privacy then select Full Disk Access.
